A training weekend for Leaders, Rovers and Venturers to give you theory and practical training so you can progress in your Vertical qualifications from Safe Participant to Trained Participant and on to Guide, or in the case of Venturers to advance your OAS Vertical stages.
**Note - previous abseiling experience is recommended. This is not a beginners weekend.

Practical sessions will be run at Sherwood Buttress.
There will be an important theory session on Friday night at Camp Eagle Eye.
Focus will be on developing intermediate and advanced abseiling skills - belaying others, self-belay, self-rescue, rigging abseils, and more.
To keep the costs to a minimum this event will be self-catered.
