Brief Summary:
Learn more about setting up abseil sites, then move on to rescue techniques.
Additional Information
This workshop has a prerequisite requirement. All participants must have already satisfactorily completed a two day Abseil Workshop.
At this event you will be revising your rigging skills, then you will put your rescue-ready setups into action. You will also concentrate on hauling systems. If time allows, you will be able to attempt buddy rescues.
The Workshop gives you a more advanced knowledge of abseil, and you will have an idea of what to do if something goes wrong when abseiling. You will gain skills that allow you to take on the role of party leader on rock-related activities.
The Pennant Hills location has no shops nor facilities, so please bring everything you need. If you have abseil equipment, please bring it with you.
