Do you want to visit AJ2016 on Sat 9th January 2016? The easiest way for GWS members is to book on one of our Region buses. You can select from one of the following pickup locations: Blacktown, Castle Hill, Greystanes, North Parramatta and South Penrith.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER for region bus transport to AJ2016 Super Saturday, you must FIRST have registered to attend the event via the Jamboree website @ https://applications.aj2016.com.au/Login.asp

After you have registered to attend the event, and if you selected 'Region Bus' as your travel option, you will then need to register on this website to reserve your place on one of the GWS Region buses. Seats are limited - you will need to act quickly!

BUS PICKUP/RETURN LOCATIONS:
(subject to change)

When you register online, you will be asked to choose one of the following bus pickup/return locations for each person:

  1. Blacktown Showground, Richmond Road, Blacktown
  2. Castle Hill Showground, Showground Road, Castle Hill
  3. Greystanes High School, Beresford Road, Greystanes
  4. Barton Park, Gladstone Street, North Parramatta
  5. Jamison Park, Jamison Road, South Penrith

DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL TIMES:

  • Buses will depart each of the above locations promptly at 9am (Ensure you arrive by 8.30am to check-in with the bus captains)
  • Buses will return to the same pickup location by 5pm (approx)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • GWS Region bus transport to AJ2016 Super Saturday is open to all youth/adult members, parents and siblings of GWS Region.
  • $20 per person for return bus journey payable to Region Office (this is additional to the event registration cost which you need to have paid to the Jamboree).
  • Anne Thompson (RC Cub Scouts) is organising the bus transport on behalf of GWS Region.
  • Joeys/Cubs attending this event are the responsibility of the section/group/parents - leaders will need to prepare/distribute your own E1 form with relevant details for your mob/pack. Please keep them to bring with you on the day. E1 forms are NOT to be submitted to Region Office for this event.
  • It is the responsibility of leaders/visitors to ensure they are registered to attend AJ2016 Super Saturday via the Jamboree website. Registering for bus transport on the GWS Region EMS is NOT registering to attend the event.
