Brief Summary:
Practice day walk. Open to Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Scouts. Approx 15 km walking. Entry level and medium. Good fitness and health required. Please bring opal card and money for afternoon tea. Visit Kamay Botany Bay National Park to see Captain Cook's landing place at Kurnell. The heritage-listed site is an important place in Australia's history.
Additional Information

Travel via train and bus, please bring opal card. 

Please bring day pack with first aid, packed lunch, healthy snacks, water, sun hat, sun cream, walking shoes, comfortable clothes

Please note the train departs Penrith Station at 7:52 am. This is a blue mountains train heading to the city. Please arrive early, and proceed to platform to board the train. Travel in the second last carrage from the rear. 

Morning train and bus > Penrith Station 7:52 am, Central 8:41 am, Central 8:53 am, Cronulla 9:45 am, Cronulla 10:00 am, Kurnell Public School 10:15 am.

Kamay Botany Bay National Park and Cronulla State Park/Cronulla Beach

Coast Walk via Cape Solander, Cape Baily, Boat Harbour, Cronulla Beach, Cronulla Station

Estimated return to Cronulla Station 4:00 pm. We can update after lunch of our progress. 

Afternoon train > Cronulla Station, Central Station, Central Station, Penrith Station (times to be advised on the day)
