A medium grade overnight hike for Scouts, Venturers and Adult Members to practice bushwalking skills in controlled environments.

Introduction

This medium grade hike involves climbing the escarpment through dense rainforest. The forest track is dense, rocky and steep in places. The track is overgrown in places. Stairs and ladders will be encountered. This extended hike is formed joining several shorter walks. The combined distance is 18 km. Toilets are not provided, come prepared for bush toileting and hygiene.

Route

Stanwell Park to Austinmer via Wodi Wodi Track, Forest Walk, Illawarra Escarpment and Sublime Point.

There are no cost except for self catering and train
