SC&T aviation camp - FROGS HOLLOW AIRSTRIP

Merimbula SC&T Aviation Camp

Join us for an exciting two-night aviation-themed camp open to Joey Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Scouts.

The camp will be held at Frogs Hollow Airstrip, located approximately 10 km south of Bega on the Princes Highway.

This is a fully catered camp. Participants will need to bring their own camping equipment and be prepared for warm daytime temperatures and cool evenings.

all sections ( joeys, cubs, scouts and venturers) are invited to participate. Joeys require a registered adult helper to attend. 

Air Activities

The Scouts Air Activity Centre will be attending and offering an optional flying experience as part of the weekend. Participants can choose between:

• Ground Activities Only – participate in all camp activities except the flight.
• Ground Activities + Air Activities – includes all camp activities plus a 20-minute flight experience.

Registration and Costs

All participants must register for the Merimbula SC&T Aviation Camp to attend.

• Camp Registration: $80 per participant

Participants wishing to take part in the optional flying activity must also register separately through the Air Activity Centre event.

• Air Activity (20-minute flight): $110 per participant

Merchandise will also be available for purchase through the Air Activity Centre registration link.

What to Bring

Participants should bring:

• Tent and personal camping equipment
• Sleeping bag and sleeping mat
• Appropriate clothing for warm days and cool nights
• Mess kit
• Personal items like toiletries 
• Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent
