Hume Moot 2026: Mootmas in July

Hume Region Rovers are proud to present Hume Moot 2026: Mootmas in July, celebrating “Every Christmas Movie Ever” held at Glenfield Scout Activity Centre in July 2026 – So grab your ugliest sweater, brace for festive chaos, and get ready to unwrap a weekend you won’t forget!

Event: Hume Moot 2026: Mootmas in July

Theme/Dress Code: Every Christmas Movie Ever

The event will run from Friday 5pm until Sunday 12pm. Please arrive after 5pm on Friday evening. If you have any special requirements for arrival, please contact us (details below). Sign in will close at 10pm on Friday, in which case you will be required to register the following morning. 

A catered ticket covers from Sat breakfast until Sun breakfast. Fivesies and a Game Show (trivia etc), will be held on Saturday Night before the Disco Kicks off.

This event is a BYO alcohol event. All participants and staff are to follow the Scouts NSW Drug and Alcohol Policy (attached below).

Moot Merch will be available to order. A link will be available soon, please follow the Facebook event page for updates on this. 

Please ensure you bring all of your normal camping related equipment; enclosed shoes, sunscreen, raincoat (you never know), dilly bag, insect repellent, sleeping gear, etc.

Accommodation: Bunk Rooms, Campgrounds, and Car Camping (including rooftop tents). A form will be circulated closer to moot with information about accommodation and sharing preferences.
