Brief Summary:
Practice multi day hike. Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders. Accompanied by a bushwalking guide. Approx 30 km. Steep and hard climbs. Suitable for those who play sport or exercise regularly.

Wentworth Falls or Leura to Katoomba via Kedumba Farm, The Col, Mount Solitary, Korowal Knife Edge, Cedar Gap, Ruined Castle, Federal Pass, Landslide, ascend via Furber Stairs or Giant Stairway.

Start Location TBC Wentworth Falls or Leura Station

Finish Location Katoomba Station

Night 1 Kedumba River campground Night 2 Cedar Gap/Ruined Castle

Drop toilet available at the Kedumba River campground and Ruined Castle

Valley access via either Kedumba Valley Road or Sublime Point Trail

*Golden Stairs is closed due to a major landslide. Ruined Castle can be accessed via Furber Stairs or the Giant Stairway. 

Construction work has begun and will be ongoing until further notice. The work involves rock removal, scaling and site remediation.
