Brief Summary:
This Abseiling Activity is for experienced abseilers only. All applicants must hold OAS Stage 3 or above. It will have abseils up to 90M. The day will be working on aspects of Stage 4, 5 & 6 Abseiling.
Additional Information

Location is at the end of Heaton Rd (Murrells Rd) well past the Telecom Towers.

This is a single day activity. Moved from Monkeyface as the road is closed.

This where youth members can tick off some of the practical requirements of the OAS Youth Program in Stages 4 to 6. Leaders, some of the requirement for TP.  It is open to more experienced abseilers.  

Intermediates (must have OAS 4) will assist with setups and improved abseiling techniques and start introducing some of the rescue techniques. There is an optional abseil off the Big Banana (50m).

OAS 4 abseiling is is required for Canyoning and Vertical caving.

The abseils will go up to 90M in height.

Bring your own food, water snacks etc. Toileting will be in the bush.
