Brief Summary:
The Course is an opportunity for Scouts to challenge and extend their character and leadership development. Limited capacity available - maximum total of 24 Scouts, with Hunter Valley given preference.
Additional Information

The Scout Leadership Course is part of the Award Scheme, and an essential part of the Australian Scout Award.  It is an overnight sleepover aimed at those Scouts who may hold a leadership role in their home Scout Unit or who are 13+ and wish to achieve the Australian Scout Award. It teaches and hones leadership skills.
 
Scouts will participate in a wide variety of talks, discussions, games and activities during the course. Camping gear required for the weekend is the same standard gear required for all normal weekend Scout Camps.
 
The course is fully catered and meals will be prepared by those leaders not actively required to run sessions. (Preference is for there to be one leader from each group who has participants attending).
