Additional Information

This event is aimed at those looking to complete a Bronze Practice Journey or have completed Bronze or Silver hike AJ and wanting to meet requirements for the next level. It is also open to any other Scouts or Venturers that would like to undertake a day hike activity 

We will meet the arrival of the 08:37 service from Hoprnsby Station that arrives into Mount Kuring-gai station at 08:45 and then heead down the Benowie Track to teh Great North Walk and then head into Crosslands 

Will then go through setting up camp and cooking  and will finish off with a barbecue

For those doing the practice journey, please pack equipment required for the length of qualifying journey - note : just bring 1 meal to demonstrate cooking - but otherwise pack for 2/3/4 days as appropriate

For those just wishing to attend for a day hike, just need to bring a day pack with snacks and 1.5L of water
