NOTE: Youth members should NOT register individually - registration should be completed by Scout Leaders.
Pigskin is a lightweight camp and hike where Scout Patrols navigate their way around a set course. Along the way there are competitive challenge activities (staffed by Leaders, Rovers and Venturers), which each patrol completes. At the end of the weekend the Patrol and Patrol Leader with the highest scores win the Pigskin Trophy and the HR Lee Flag respectively.
Venturers under 16 years old may participate as part of a Scout Patrol - please ensure you have the role selected as "Scout/Venturer : Patrol #" & Category as Scout/Venturer.
All youth members must have an elected line leader who is responsible for the youth member for the event. This CAN be a leader from another unit, HOWEVER must be supervising the same youth section. This leader must also email the organisers advising they accept responsibility, providing a list of names they are supervising outside of their unit. EG: A leader responsible for supervising Venturer youth members cannot also be supervising Scout youth members. Please complete relevant text field upon registration. All leaders supervising youth must camp nearby the youth members they are repsonsobility for (within earshot).
Catering will be an opt in option for Service Leaders (Venturers, Rovers, Leaders & Helpers) for additional cost. Please note, the only dietary requirements catered for without prior discuss (via email) will be Vegetarian. [EG: If you are requiring Gluten free food, please email the committee BEFORE application closing date requesting so - and the event team will discuss options for your dietary requirements]. Your E-Permission MUST be completed before 14 March 2026 with all dietary requirements.
All Units are requested to bring an activity and risk assessment to the event.
