DESCRIPTION:This workshop will present participants with a structured learning opportunity focused on development of the skills and knowledge required for qualification as a Trained Participant flatwater canoeiing or kayaking. This activity can also be used as an opportunity for both OAS Paddling stage progressions and for collection evidence required for SAIT assessment of VET inland flat-water paddling units of competency (required for Assistant Guide or Guide appointment). The workshop will also prepare participants for progression to paddle in both moving and white-water and will be a skills refresher for those already qualified and seeking currency.
