Brief Summary:
Only available to Scouts and Leaders. The Coast track in Sydney's Royal National Park is an epic multi-day walk between Bundeena and Otford. Enjoy incredible coastal lookouts, swimming spots, seasonal wildflowers and whale watching along this challenging 26km track.
Additional Information

Adapted to COVID 19 health and safety guidelines.

Alternate to public transport. You can be driven to the walk start/finish. Approx 9:30 am Beachcomber Avenue, Bundeena.

Run with essential adults only. Adults need own tent (avoid sharing with another adult). Department of Sport and Recreation will announce youth accommodation (tent) guidelines.

Avoid sharing food or equipment. Wash hands before entering tents, before preparing and eating meals and after toileting. Apply social distancing. Campground to operate with reduced capacity. Activity leaders wipe tables and touch surfaces within dining area.

Method of transport to and from the activity: Cronulla Ferries / Own transport or Sydney Trains (Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line)

The activity will not be under direct adult supervsion. 

The activity will involve both male and female youth members.

Both male and female leaders will not be present.

Suitable for Scouts who are learning to carry a loaded pack.

This route includes fire trail and walking track. Track grades are medium with some extended steep ascent/decent sections. This involves extended strenuous physical activity and endurance. Suitable for youth and adults who exercise and or play sport regularly.

This camp is self-catered so please bring whatever suits your liking. It is important to bring sufficient food for the duration. Choose hearty and nutritious foods that will provide sufficient energy.

Camping at North Era Campground spacious grassy site with 2 toilets, water can be obtained from the nearby Garie SLSC.

Prepare for bush toileting and hygiene during the hike. If we come close to a toilet we will stop however they are infrequent and sometimes closed due to maintenance or vandalism.

Participants coming by train are encouraged to travel in small groups and travel in the guard's carriage marked with a blue light. Scout uniform is not required however please wear your scarf.
