Brief Summary:
A fun day for Joeys and Cubs - on, in and around the water - where everyone gets wet, whether it is canoeing, swimming or learning about and playing with water.
Additional Information

Join us at Pop Denison Park, Shaws Bay, for a fun‑filled day of picnicking, games, and paddling in a clean, calm, flat‑water environment.

Joeys and Cubs will enjoy water-based land activities, along with a session of canoeing and swimming.

Participants will need to wear uniform to and from the venue and bring the following:

  • Snacks, drinks, lunch, water bottle
  • Swimmers, rashie, towel
  • Water shoes - covered shoes to wear in the water (no crocs, thongs or sandals)
  • Sunscreen and wide brim hat
  • Dry clothes to change into

All participants are required to wear a PFD whilst canoeing or swimming.

Groups are encouraged to bring along Group Canoes, PFDs (life jackets) and paddles if you have them.

Participants are to follow the Australian Scout Law at all times.
