Cycle Touring OAS Stages 4 - 6. SP/TP On-Road Cycling Qualifications

Cycle Touring event aimed at Venturers seeking higher OAS cycling qualifications and for leaders gaining Cycle Touring experience and qualifications. A support vehicle with a trailer will be accompanying the peloton and is able to transport the equipment of participants.
 
When: Mon 29th Sep 2025 (8am) to Wed 1st Oct 2025 (12pm)
Day 1. 61km. Dubbo Scout Hall - Wellington Riverside Caravan Park
Day 2. 78km. Wellington Riverside Caravan Park - Gulgong Showground
Day 3. 58km. Gulgong Showground - Ampol Dunedoo
 
Cycling on the Central West Cycle Trail in a counter-clockwise direction.

Participants are required to:
  • Book their own accommodation at the venues listed above.
  • Be able to ride 15-20km/h on flat roads for periods of up to three hours.
  • Supply their own bike and repair kit.
  • Supply their own tent
  • Self-Cater, including water
  • Provide their own transport to the starting point and from the finish point (Reach out to for assistance if required).
