Brief Summary:
Objective: Complete key requirements for Survival OAS Stage 4 & 5 Join us for an overnight survival experience designed to develop practical skills in shelter building, fire lighting, water purification, and emergency preparedness. Scouts/Venturers will work individually and in teams to apply survival priorities in real-world conditions, participate in simulated survival scenarios, and demonstrate safe and effective techniques.
Additional Information

Activities include:

  • Building functional survival shelters using natural materials

  • Signalling for rescue using visual and audio methods

  • Collecting and purifying water from natural sources

  • Lighting and managing fires with limited resources

  • Cooking a basic meal in survival conditions

  • Creating and evaluating personal survival kits

  • Planning and leading survival-related activities (Stage 5)

  • Completing a simulated survival scenario under indirect supervision

This camp meets most of the practical components of Survival OAS Stage 4 and 5, and provides Scouts with the opportunity to lead and demonstrate their skills in a controlled, challenging environment.

Minimum Requirements to Register:

  • Must be at least 13 years old (Scout / Venturer)

  • Must have completed OAS Stage 3 – Bushcraft
