Cub camp 2025
Additional Information

Cubs will be camping over 2 nights at the scout hall. They are encouraged to attend the whole event so we can complete their camping stage progressions.

  • Patrol leaders will be going through badgework with their patrols.

  • Unit council will be held for the whole unit to plan next terms timetable of events.

  • Cubs will be learning the basics of scouting essentials.

  • Movie will be played each night for wind down. Cubs will pick between G rated movies (please let us know if there is a movie your cub cannot watch) Alternate craft/card games area will be set up for cubs who do not wish to watch the movie.

 

Meals -
Please ensure cubs have eaten dinner prior to camp arrival

  • Wednesday meals provided: supper
  • Thursday meals provided: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper
  • Friday meals provided: breakfast
  • Thursday day visitors meals provided: morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner

Note: Thursday day visit hours are 9am - 9pm

 

Packing list -
Please ensure all is labelled with your child's name

  • Mess kit (cup, bowl, plate, cutlery, tea towel)
  • Toiletries
  • Enclosed shoes
  • Clothing appropriate for weather
  • Pajamas
  • Cuddle toy
  • Sleeping mat
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Water bottle
  • Head torch


Medication must be labelled and be given to leaders on arrival with instructions on dosage.

Please note - minimum numbers required for camp to run. If numbers are not met, camp will be rescheduled.
