Brief Summary:
This is an Adventure weekend open for Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders. The weekend will allow participants to experience a range of activities including Abseiling, Bushwalking, Archery and Mountain biking (need own bike). The weekend will enable the participants to achieve goals towards stages in various Outdoor Adventure Skills. Leaders can add activities to their logbook to go towards SP or TP qualifications.. There will be two activities on one day and two different ones on the other day.
Additional Information

The event will be held at Poms Camp, Brothers Rd Jilliby, off Little Jilliby Rd. Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and  Leaders only.

Poms Camp is a bush camp with limited facilities. It is run by the H&C Region Scouts.

  • There is a bush camp toilet (Forestry Commission type).
  • There is no running water at this camp. You will need to bring your own drinking water for the weekend.
  • You will need to bring all your own camping gear, tent, sleeping bag, food, cooking stove, utensiles etc

 

The weekend will consist of 2 activities on the Saturday and the other two on Sunday. Most likley Bushwalking and Abseiling on Saturday and Archery and Mt Biking on the Sunday. You must bring your own MT Bike. Archery & Abseiling gear provided by H&C Region.

Final details will be confirmed via email after we see how many participants we have apply.

Costs include Pom's camp Camping Fee,
