This event is open for registered Joeys only.
Region Joeys are invited to attend a day of learning about bushwalking with activity bases on navigation, hiking gear, games etc. We will then go for a walk in the gardens. Attending will go towards the OAS Bushwalking stage 1 badge. Joeys will receive a Trailjam 2025 camp blanket badge - this is a world Scouting badge from Canada that has taken over from the previous JOTT (Jamboree on the Trail) world badge. Registration is password protected
WEAR: Joey Scout shirt and scarf, warm long pants, warm jumper, sunhat, sunblock, socks and sturdy enclosed footwear (runners or hiking boots).
BRING: Full water bottle, snacks, lunch and warm jacket/raincoat in small backpack. Bring binoculars if have them.
COST: Joeys $6.50 (Trailjam camp-blanket badge). Event Staff (Leaders and invited Adult Helpers) are free.
MEET: In front of Gardens shop near main car park.
Some Adult Helpers maybe required and must be preferrably Scout registered Adult Helpers (or complete a M5 Prohibited Employment Declaration form: https://nsw.scouts.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/M5_ProhibitedEmploymentDeclaration_Apr15.pdf ) Please check with your Joey Leader.
The E-Permission form (emailed to you after registering) is to be submitted for each Joey/Adult Helper/Leader attending. Please ensure medical information and emergency contact details (someone NOT attending the activity) are complete and accurate. Also you must tick the activities for your child to participate.
**We will be following NSW Health Covid safe protocols. Should you have flu-like symptoms, please stay home and get tested.**
### In the event of extremely bad weather, we will cancel and advise all hopefully, the day before. Maximum refund would be $5.50. ##
