Brief Summary:
Joeys will be camping overnight and enjoying a weekend learning all things fire. Types of fire, how to build one, how to put one out, fire safety and much more. They will also be able to tick off sections of OAS.
Additional Information

All parents/carers attending must be registered as an adult helper and have completed the mandatory training. Your Group Leader will assist with the process.

While we are encouraging Joeys to camp in tents with each other this is not mandatory. Talk to your Joey Leader if you have any questions.

Uniform to be worn to and from the camp.

Day 1 - 14/06:

8.30am: Arrive at camp for registration. Once registered Joeys will pitch their tents and stow their gear

9.30am: Opening parade, overview of camp rules

10.00am: Fire activities begin!

Full program will be revealed on the day

Day 2 - 15/06:

Joeys will talk walk after packing up their gear and have soem morning tea before closing

IT WILL BE COLD. Please ensure that you have suitable clothing, a warm jacket, beanie and gloves.

Sturdy enclosed shoes must be worn at all times

Bring:

  • A day pack containing, a notebook, pen/pencil, water bottle.
