Future Scout Day is an exciting opportunity for 10-year-old Cubs to step into the world of Scouting and experience a full day at Region Scout Camp. Designed to immerse soon-to-be linking Cubs in the Scout program, the day offers the chance to join a Scout Unit patrol and take part in activities traditionally catered to the older sections. Cubs will participate with the Scouts in activity bases run by the groups and districts, as well as adventurous activities such as ninja line, crate stacking, abseiling, flying fox, and a water obstacle course across the Camp Coutts pond.
Future Scouts will be integrated into their own Unit or a local one if their Unit is not attending, and will remain with that patrol for the duration of the day. Catering will be provided by the Scout Unit for morning tea and lunch. All Cubs will check in at Waterfall Station carpark in the morning, where they will receive their wristband and passport before being bussed into the camp as one group. In the afternoon, they will return the same way, with all Future Scouts departing together by bus.
Attendance is required for the full day from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to ensure a complete and immersive Scout experience.
