Brief Summary:
This year, the Hunter & Coastal Region Cuboree is bringing a Halloween themed camp to the Dungog Showground. Cubs are invited to join a weekend-long "scare fest" where they will actively participate in a variety of fantastic activities. These activities include ghost hunting, escape rooms and much more. It's an event not to be missed for any Cub looking for excitement, some new skills and new friends!

CUBOREE INFO

  • You must be a financial member of Scouts NSW
  • You must be minimum of 8 years old and linked to Cubs by October 31st
  • Registration requires a $10 deposit (non-refundable) and part payments will be invoiced once your E-Permissions form is completed.
  • Your Scout Membership number is required. You'll find it on your Operoo profile
  • All medication must be clearly labelled with name and group in a sealed container (pencil cases work well) and handed to the First Aid person on arrival.
  • Full uniform to be worn to and from camp
  • Sturdy, fully enclosed shoes - no crocs
  • Transport to camp: talk to your Cub leaders
  • What to pack? See the attached gear list.
  • What not to pack? Food and electronics
  • Arrive at Dungog Showground from 6.00pm on Friday October 31st
  • Enter via Chapman Street and follow directions to the Kiss n Drop zone and registration area where your leaders will meet you and show you your District campsite and your patrol tent so you can get setup.
  • Dinner is a sausage sizzle at your District campsite, so have some afternoon tea on the way to the camp
  • Saturday November 1st – after breakfast you’ll move around the bases with your District 
  • Saturday night after dinner we have a disco planned
  • Sunday November 2nd after breakfast you’ll pack your gear and get ready for one last activity before heading home

JUNIOR SERVICE LEADERS (JSL) INFO!

We welcome Scouts and Venturers to develop their leadership skills and to support our Leaders and ensure our Joeys and Cubs have a fantastic weekend.

The minimum age is 14 (or approved by your District Cub Leader and the Camp Chief)

Scouts will camp with their district

There will be a Junior Service Leader Camp Site - Venturers not wanting to camp there can camp with their district
