DESCRIPTION:This is an interesting walk into the Newnes State Forest. Estimate of 27.6 km. The most obvious route is via State Mine Gully however we have the option to detour via McKellars Park "Lithgow Spur" and Cobar Park. This route is likely to include fire trail\, walking track and some off track. We cater to a range of abilities. Average grade is medium inclusive of some hard sections.
